I am an Italian guy with a passion for science and technology. Here I want to share some of the things I have done, especially related to my interests, experiments, studies and jobs. It is pretty much a bunch of hyper-technical stuff, some of it very old, but I hope you will find something interesting.
I am a researcher at IJCLab. I work with the LIGO and Virgo gravitational-wave detectors and the Fermi satellite to discover and study extremely energetic astrophysical transient events, in particular the coalescence of black holes and neutron stars. In the past I have worked at Goddard Space Flight Center and the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics on similar topics.
Some software I wrote a long time ago to learn and play with math and computer graphics.
Signal processing and radio reception experiments.
I particularly enjoyed Myst, Riven and the Marathon trilogy, to the point of actually analyzing their engines and data files and writing viewers and editors.
